The new build is up!
It has a new area that is a series of rooms, put together randomly. They include combat encounters and traps/simple puzzles.
There is also a new love animation with the hobgoblin. It will play randomly instead of the other animation!

This build includes the various unfinished zones that I've been working on.
The garden area acts as Meridiana's hub area.
This is where players will eventually choose costumes, weapons, items, etc,
before they go out into the world.
The hub area will also eventually include:
*A gallery to view the various sex animations you get from monsters.
*The Dresser to change costumes(Already included, but right now is a simple switch)
*The vase filled with the paintings Meridiana has found(Already included. There are currently five paintings
hidden in the other worlds)
*The The various collectibles on display(already included.There are currently three little statues hidden in the other levels)
*Bathtub for Meridiana to clean herself in(will be more useful once you can get dirtier)
*A few hidden sex scenes
*The ability to summon various demons and gods in order to drain them and gain their powers before going out into the world
*Potion making station
The tutorial level is included here as well, but it remains largely unchanged. I do want to change a few things, and add a few
more, but I want other levels and enemies finished first, so that there is a smooth transition.
The Hidden City.
Follow the short cave path to reveal the path to the hidden city. This is the basic map up to the temple, with the side path
and puzzles not yet implemented. It currently has goblins as its enemies, but the plan is for it to have its own badguys, and
some of them will be tough.
The level is also brighter then planned, as I don't have a really good spell to create light quite yet!
The Previously built sex scene Gallery
I had to make a small fix, but this is pretty much the old sex scene gallery. Once the new one is built, this will no longer be
included.
The combat tutorial area
I like this as an area to mess with spells and badguys. Here you can enter the town and fight the guys there, or spawn enemies
of your choosing to fight.
It also includes a SUPER simple little side plot (like really really simple) that I really like, and want to move to some other
part of the world later (and hopefully expand)

Spell System - By holding Q down, you can draw magic from the environment towards you. Only by having the correct elements nearby can you cast spells
Changed Spell Formulas - Some spells have been changed to be simpler to cast. This is probably going to continue. With more deadly spells requiring more elements, and less deadly and crowd control spells requiring less elements.
Reduced Stamina Cost - Most spells now cost less stamina to cast. I don't want to over burden the player.
Changes to Puzzle area - Made a few small changes to the puzzle area to work with the reduced magic available. It now uses more FIRE.
Enemies can drown - Throwing enemies into the deep water SHOULD kill them, as goblins don't swim.
Hid a few more dirty animations - I put a few more dirty animations around the village. I'm sorry these really don't have a lot of context, but once I've gotten a few more characters/npcs created, I can make more contextual stuff.

Changed charm system to be more interactive, player must now use abilities to put enemies in the right frame of mind to be charmed.
Once charmed, enemies can now be told to follow or wait.
Fixed Errors with player being able to teleport through walls and on top of some barriers
Removed physics from bomb puzzles. They should now trigger correctly as long as the bomb thrown correctly.
Temporarily added 2 additional sex animations, a blow job and a hand job, to the final area.
Some cum FX have been added to some sex scenes.
Added visual notification if you are using too much magic and getting overstressed.

Fixed an error that was causing the Incubus realm to not spawn correctly, making the player fall into the void.
Also added a visual FX that gives trajectories when you are throwing objects.

The level has been broken up into sections that dynamically load as needed. This should ease memory use, but I've noticed small hitches
when a new area loads in, and I'll have to work to reduce that.
I also added a title screen and some music. The current music is pulled from a collection of western music, but hopefully I can
get something commissioned in the future.
Meridiana's knife attack does more damage, and ends much faster. Her gun likewise does more damage now. This is stuff that will
continue to be tweaked.
The bird goblins now have a crossbow, and monster AI has been minorly tweaked. I plan to do some major tweaks, but for now they
attack and patrol and that's fine.
Added a changed time stop spell, a spell to fling world props at enemies, as well as set the wand to freeze enemies(for now).
Clicking the middle mouse button or right control stick on the controller will toggle Meridiana's second sight, which allows you
to see enemies and interactable objects in the world.
The keyboard or controller button layout can be viewd in the options menu.
There is currently a bug that pops up if you tap or hold right click while casting a spell, to get out of this, just do a dash/dodge.
If any of the puzzle traps don't unlock in the undeground section, you can use push to get the box on the trigger correctly.
I do plan do change it after this build so that it doesn't rely on physics.

An auto aim for the pistol has been added. This can be turned on via the options menu. It works very well for a controller
However, it tends to Stick when used with the mouse.
This update includes some simplifications on some confusing parts of this demo stage. The platforming part SHOULD be much
easier to complete, as the platforms are much larger, there is a stop in the middle, and the aimed teleport is active.
There are a couple of easier puzzles leading up to the switch puzzle underground. These puzzles should ramp up the idea
that you need to find a way to get a bomb to the switch to blow up the object stopping it. If these are still too confusing,
I'll change them again.
The enemy area is now laid out like a small town area, with enemies spaced out, and things to hide behind/in. I think this area
finally feels kinda fun/interesting, but I want/plan to add more traps and such
I've finally got combat nailed where I want it: Meridiana carries both a dagger and a pistol. The dagger is quiet and useful
for smaller enemies, but doesn't do a lot of damage, nor does it have a lot of range. The gun is quite the opposite, however,
it has limited ammo, and is very loud. Using the gun will likely attract enemy attention. The gaps between these two weapons
can be best filled by use of the different spells. I plan to really try out a variety of spells in the future to see which are
the most fun to cast.

*Added simple(temporary) spellbooks so players can see how to cast spells. It can be accessed by holding Enter.
*Built out more of the level up to the point just before the player encounters enemies.
*Added a hidden Halloween cemetary area(its not very impressive). This area includes a few new sex animations, a couple
that feature enemies and NPCs. Its location is hidden, but the Incubus will give you a hint if you win the shooting range game.
-Sorceress' Tale Tutorial Gun and Melee test 09/28/2019
Added gun with inputs, right mouse to aim/stop aiming, left click to fire, and R to reload.
Wanted to test how the gun feels, and how it might change the challenge of the game. While it does a lot of damage, all
at range(max range needs to be applied), it makes a lot of noise, summoning far away enemies, and takes a while to reload.
Hoping to get feedback on the feel of the gun.

Shapes can be drawn by hitting two directions, such as A, then W to draw a line between them.
This casting system is not the primary concern for this build, but I would like people to experiment with it a bit.
-Sorceress' Tale Tutorial Level Whitebox Test 07/31/19
*Made updates to tooltips telling what buttons to press
*Added variation of teleport that can be aimed by holding down the dash button.
*Set all the final inputs, just need to set best control scheme.
*Player can turn on simple menu based spellcasting by going into the game menu and selecting it. This spell casting is
easier to do, but will always aim in front of the player.
*The level is starting to be built out environment wise.
Want to test to see if new teleport ability is useful given other abilities, or if it is overpowered.
Do we still need a dodge with this ability, or does it replace the dodge?

Changed the buttons to go forward and backwards in a sex scene to A and D.

Test has a few minimal changes and updates versus the first. Mostly bug fixes for some simple stuff that was missed, and a changed
dagger ability, as well as a teleport instead of a dash.

This is a test build of the tutorial whitebox. I'd like to get input on how it feels as a tutorial level. I'd also like to get input
as to what spells or abilities the combat is lacking, and what you think it needs to feel better.
The level should explain all the buttons as you go.

Move with WASD, Left click to attack with equipped weapon. Hold right mouse button down to aim spell, and hit left click to cast.
1 will toggle between your current available weapons, while 2 and 3 will toggle between current abilities.
q and R will use equipped abilities.
If you have enough height, hitting attack in the air will cause you to use a ground pound ability. Some abilities have different effects.
Some abilities will react differently if chained together. (in this demo, specifically the fire sword and certain abilities used in succession.
Once you've charmed an enemy, you need to cast the seduce spell with them nearby to start a love scene. To advance the scene, Hit the > (PERIOD) key, to go back, hit the < (COMMA) key.
The end of the level is the area with the cave. There is no boss yet.
Hit Esc to bring up the menu, you can quit from there.
Updates:
Bird Goblin added. Has two different animations.
Halloween Area added (its not impressive, don't get super excited)
Play can now drain abilities from some enemies.
Certain spells are now abilities.
Ability hot keys now added. (Q and R for now)
Menu with graphics settings now available.
Animations between creatures should line up now. When Animations are started on a slope, there may be a little interpenetration with the slope.
